Finding The Best Real Estate Brokers In Ft. Myers

When looking for commercial real estate brokers in Ft Myers, it is important to find the right company. Not all brokerage firms or independent brokers are the same. It is always best to work with companies that provide more than the basic services. Use these tips to help identify a good real estate broker in the area.

Find someone who knows the local area. Nobody should have to work with a broker who is not familiar with the area. Brokers who do not know the area may not be able to advise about hazards, nuisances and other issues. A good broker will be able to suggest spaces to rent or buy that match the client's needs in price, location, size and tax rates.

Look for a broker who can work independently. This is essential for people who are relocating to the area and still live out of the area. Not all brokers excel in tenant representation services. Finding one who handles needs analysis, co-tenant preference matching, property research, reporting and transaction handling is an asset.

Choose a broker with a wide range of services. Many brokers simply help buyers or renters find commercial space. However, there may be other needs related to the lease or purchase. For example, a buyer may want to redevelop a property. It makes sense to find a broker who also handles those services. Another buyer may need someone to handle leasing services, leasing management or asset management after buying a property. In such a case, it is smart to work with a broker who handles asset management, leasing management and leasing services.

For buyers or renters who wonder if such firms exist, rest assured that they do exist. Retail Solutions Advisors is a leading provider of all of these services and many more in Florida. Contact RSA today to learn more about leasing or buying commercial property. Smiley

Tesco Thursday!

Bummer! After finally deciding to give Tesco Online shopping a try yesterday afternoon, I ended up at the check-out counter with much anticipation only to be let down because there were no available delivery slots for today! adus

B and I never did care much for Tesco all this while and we usually get our grocery shopping done at Giant, Cold Storage or Village Grocer. But after hearing rave reviews from BFF LJ about Tesco online shopping and home delivery service, I was of course enticed! ihikhik

Frankly, I was expecting cluttered and disorganized online shopping at Tesco. I was however, pleasantly surprised at how simple it was to navigate through the site. The search feature also makes it easy to look for specific items.

My shopping List

I spent yesterday afternoon registering on-site; happily taking my time browsing through the promotions available, reading about the Tesco voucher codes to help you save more, and checking out the many different brands carried by this grocery market, which were not bad actually. In fact, certain items were priced lower compared to those available in the other supermarkets I mentioned earlier.

All in all, I was pleased with my Tesco online shopping experience and what I enjoyed most was the convenience of relaxed shopping in the comfort of my home-office. After selecting all 24 of my items, I was all set to check-out and make the final confirmation for my order. It was only then that I came across a section saying that delivery would depend on availability of slots and it is advisable to check for free slots prior to shopping … which I did not! ketukmeje

Apparently, the earliest available delivery slot is this weekend, which would be too late for me. My bad for not checking the delivery slots before happily shopping so I guess there will be no Tesco delivery guy arriving at my doorstep today! ihikhik

Fully Booked!

Anyway we ended up doing our grocery shopping at our usual Village Grocer late yesterday evening and now I’m all set to cook for B’s birthday dinner tonight. I’m planning to cook a main dish plus dessert and based on my ingredients below, can you guess what I’ll be cooking? Smiley

Redecorating!

Frankly, B and I can’t wait to sell our condo, move into a new home and happily shop for new furniture, new wrought iron chandeliers and of course decorate my new home-office and our kitty room! Yes, that is the plan but it's not as easy as it sounds! Smiley

Firstly, we have to look for another place and so far all the new homes we like are way too costly. So that’s a major deterrent right there. Secondly, there is the location to consider. Currently based in PJ, we are both content to stay put. B’s office is near to home and all our major hangouts are also here. To uproot ourselves and move to a new area (
with cheaper homes), though possible is just something that we both would like to avoid.

So as much as we would love to happily pack our belongings and move into a brand new home, this plan will just have to wait. Instead we are trying to make do with what we have by simply redecorating our place with new furniture, new wrought iron lighting and perhaps repaint the entire place with new colours! That ought to lift my spirit don’t you think?
ihikhik

We definitely need new lighting in our home. We had a handyman over recently to check the non-working lights at home and apparently he fixed everything in one afternoon. However, it took only two days for the ceiling light in our main bathroom and the one in the dining area to conk out on us again. I’m really not sure what’s going on but I strongly suspect it’s a wiring problem that’s causing most ceiling lights at home to stop working almost immediately after replacing the bulbs.

Unlike our ceiling lights, the standing lamps and table lamps seem to be working fine, which is why I’m thinking of adding a few new table lamps for the living-room and my home-office. I guess we’re headed to IKEA this weekend then. It’s time to shop for new lights, new carpet, definitely a new coffee table and perhaps a new office chair for me too!

It looks like I’ll be enjoying a little home shopping this Sunday. So what are your plans or is it too early to start planning your weekend?

Sprucing Up!

B and I are finally getting down to business with the major redecorating we are doing to our condo. I think it all started with our visit to my parents’ new condo last two weeks. We visited their new place, which was still empty but partially furnished and decorated. We fell in love with my parents’ place almost at once and that got us thinking about getting a new condo. rindu

We are not looking for anything too fancy like the beautiful Barcelona apartments available for vacation rental online. We know and are well aware that anything too fancy would cost us a bomb, which is simply not feasible at the moment. But we are now inspired to at least decorate our current home to make it more cosy and fancy at a lower cost instead of hastily running out to buy a new home!
Smiley

Apartments for vacation rental in Barcelona

Spacious and Airy

Cosy and Inviting

The first thing we really want to do is get a new sofa for the living room. Thanks to my naughty cats, our current sofa is not only worn out but scratchy all over too! Yeah, it is hard to buy anything really expensive when you have four cats roaming around freely at home to do as they please, which is another reason we’re cleaning and redoing our home.

The plan is to clear the huge guest room we have and turn a section into a kitty corner. I have no clue how we’re going to pull this off just yet but I’ve been getting some good ideas simply by browsing through the gorgeous apartments in Barcelona online. Some of the design and interior are truly inspiring and if you are clever and creative enough; any space, big or small can turn into exactly what you want it to be, including my much talked about kitty room! Smiley

Anyway, yesterday we dropped by IKEA to check out the furniture as well as gain more inspiring decorative ideas for our home and we are dead set on bringing home a new sofa. B has also cleaned up our balcony and currently clearing the living room. Next week, by hook or by crook; we’re finally going to install a much-needed AC in our living room, bring in the new sofa (I’m thinking white!), fix all our lighting at home and prepare the kitty corner for our kids.

First Choice

I can’t wait to see the finished work and I am hoping this new setting at home will ease our longing and yearning to actually purchase a new condo. We will make the best of what we do have instead of wistfully thinking about purchasing that gorgeous but oh-so-expensive duplex, which for now will remain a dream I guess. Me and my dreams! doa

No Water, Oh No! *

Say whaaaaaaat? No water for the next three days due to maintenance work by SYABAS? Ahhhhhh this is not good so what I've been doing ever since waking up late afternoon yesterday was preparing for the dry spell, scheduled to start at 8am today!
adus
We bought a bunch of pails to store water and four huge bottles of mineral water as well. The cats are curious as you can see.
ihikhik

What's going on Master?

Here comes Benji!

B and I got our supplies from Giant and fortunately, there were still some pails for us when we got there. If we had arrived five minutes later, there would be none left as the crowd had started buying supplies way ahead of us! Too bad I forgot to bring my iPhone4 or my Sony Cyber-shot so I couldn't snap pictures of the frenzied crowd in Giant.

I've already washed three loads of clothes and there's another two more to go before I can finally clear my clothes hamper. I want to get my laundry out of the way so I don't have to worry about washing clothes during this water cut. Still can't believe we have to endure three whole days without water, oh my.... ketukmejegarupale

New Day BED and Redecorating!

I've been meaning to redecorate our home for the longest time but I always get uninspired when I start thinking about the many things I’d need to do in order to give our home sweet home a fresh new look! Besides work, which is my main reason for putting this off, I'm also a little lazy. And I am not creative when it comes to decorating but I do my best to keep our home warm and cosy. The keyword here is try, which means I give my all but I don't always succeed!
ihikhik

When we first moved in here many years ago, our house seemed spacious and airy. Everything was new and it was fun decorating a brand new home with my darling. We had minimal furniture and most of them were new purchases like
bedside cabinets, coffee tables and TV rack from IKEA.

B and I love shopping in IKEA because it is so close to our home so it only makes sense to shop there. Plus the prices are reasonable and you can find plenty of awesome items including lovely beds for sale at great prices. Oh, there’s also the extra temptation to stop for their famous Swedish meatballs after a full day of shopping! Smiley

Nowadays, our home needs more than just a little sprucing up. I’m talking major upheaval and throwing out of old things and furniture to make room for new ones. Our sofa, which was once new and clean is now all scratchy and torn thanks to our three playful cats.

On a good day!

The day bed inside my home-office is also ruined, which explains why I’ve been scouring online for new daybeds online. No leather beds or chairs of course but something that can withstand my cats’ scratchy claws! We’re also very keen to trade in our current Queen for a King. A queen size bed is good enough for comfort but imagine the space I'd get to enjoy with a king-size bed! Smiley

Get off my bed meows!

These next few days will see me resting and rejuvenating from work. All my invoices have been sent, quotations emailed, translations approved and copywriting done. Now that my workload is lighter, there’s no reason to procrastinate any longer. So, besides catching up on much-needed sleep and beauty rest, I also want to get started on redecorating our home, starting with new kitty beds for my cats! Smiley
