Say whaaaaaaat? No water for the next three days due to maintenance work by SYABAS? Ahhhhhh this is not good so what I've been doing ever since waking up late afternoon yesterday was preparing for the dry spell, scheduled to start at 8am today!
We bought a bunch of pails to store water and four huge bottles of mineral water as well. The cats are curious as you can see.
What's going on Master?
Here comes Benji!B and I got our supplies from Giant and fortunately, there were still some pails for us when we got there. If we had arrived five minutes later, there would be none left as the crowd had started buying supplies way ahead of us! Too bad I forgot to bring my iPhone4 or my Sony Cyber-shot so I couldn't snap pictures of the frenzied crowd in Giant.
I've already washed three loads of clothes and there's another two more to go before I can finally clear my clothes hamper. I want to get my laundry out of the way so I don't have to worry about washing clothes during this water cut. Still can't believe we have to endure three whole days without water, oh my....

usually there's a tanker here supplying us water in case there's shortage... but the supply is limited since they have to distribute the water to the rest of the affected areas.. =-O =-O =-O

Hopefully we'll get the water back by Thurs night. Someone told me that actually Syabas cut off water for one day only, but it may take one day for the water to return due to water pressure so they tell the public it's water cut for 2 days. But dunno true or not!
I think condo may take a longer time right since the water has to naik the tangki so high!

I was actually shocked to hear of this dry spell GP... initially i thought like three days ok but like for sure it will be 8am to 8pm kinda thing and start again the next day kan.. NEVER thought it will be like continously... mmg menyusahkan..
Lucky you got your supplies on time sweetie... the kids too forever so curious kan..so cute.. miss my kids lah.. was talking to A last night and Awan keep purring into the phone... soooo cute!!! lol!

Eh, but water cut tak jadi right? BBunz's apartment OK je.. Hehe.. But at least you already have pails for future use. And must also be careful coz you know la Gov ni give one date and then suddenly another date they cut the water.. *DONT_KNOW* So cute the meows kaypoh there! :-D
Oh my, I can handle power interruptions but I don't think I'll be handle time without water.. :-P
But 3 days will go by fast Marzie.. :) you won't even know it.. :-P
