What transpired last night on Nip Tuck however surely cannot be fixed by any compression garment! I am currently watching Season 5 and the continuation sees Dr. Troy diagnosed with breast cancer and seeking aid from a support group. Here, he meets a new lady friend called Roxy. As expected, Casanova Troy enjoyed a brief fling with Roxy who is a little disturbed by the way.

Roxy's mother and sister both died of breast cancer and despite the absence of any evidence diagnosing her with the deadly disease, Roxy is obsessed with ridding herself of any cancer possibility by having a double mastectomy! When Troy refused to operate on Roxy, she incredulously pulled a jaw-dropping stunt by cutting off one of her breasts with an electric knife! I watched this on DVD last night so nothing was censored and I couldn't help wincing at the sight of Roxy foolishly mutilating her own body; what more a breast and with a very sharp knife too! The whole scene was horrifying with blood gushing everywhere; leaving crazy Roxy nearly dead in the process!

I still can't get the picture out of my head and now I'm thinking twice about watching Nip Tuck by myself! I have another four episodes left in Season 5 and after that very gory episode last night, there's just no way I'm going to finish the rest of the season without B. I shall persuade him to accompany me tonight; let him share my horror at the crazy atrocious things taking place on the show this season!
