When all else fails, what do you do? Why SHOP of course! You don't have to spend a lot to shop to your heart's content. There are many stores selling discounted items both offline and online for you to satisfy your shopping crave especially when you're feeling frustrated the way I am feeling today!
First of all, my internet decided to pick today of all days to be slower than usual. You see, I slept early last night, hoping to get up at a decent hour today in order to finish a quick translation job for a client, clear off some invoices and start my EC round early. I am feeling a little guilty about not dropping EC yesterday so I thought I'd make up for it today. Unfortunately that does not seem to be feasible with the super slow connection plaguing Mariuca's world today! What's worse is that I can't log in to my Adgitize account either. Waking up early does not seem to bode well with me at all; is it a wonder then why I'm a night owl? I find my internet connection to be speedier at night compared to daylight hours. My plan to be on "normal people" mode today apparently backfired, which of course started my day on a bad note!
Next, I found out from Debbs, the reason behind many of us former NN Glitterati members being demoted to ordinary members, thanks to our Adgitize membership. That immediately got me thinking of AV, another programme which is pissing me off because they refuse to reply my many emails pertaining to a certain request I forwarded them since last month. I'm not talking about just one email, in fact I sent them at least 5 emails and until today, nobody bothered to reply any of my emails; what is up with that?
Slow connection and inefficiency - my two main dislikes and it had to happen to me on a Friday, which is my favourite day of the week. And now, all this is spoiling my fun and anticipation of a nice relaxing weekend. So what's left for me to do today but SHOP! I'm thinking Topshop Sandals. It's been a while since I last shopped for heels. During my 9-5 days, I used to wear them all the time, no matter how uncomfortable they were. I know that's bad but a girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do to look good so I suffered in silence and continued shopping for heels. In fact, my motto was the higher the better! What do you think of this one?

I'm happy that you have more options, however remember to remind him to check out the P1 connection in your area before signing up - I heard that some KL blogger got slow connection from P1. It's good to make sure - I made sure the reseller played a very long Youtube vid in front of me using P1 just so I can see how good it was. I also went on an online game in front of him just to see whether his claims were true or not. LOL!!! Also, I'm no longer Glitterati like a lot of Adgi members. I didn't know how come suddenly the status was taken away but now we all know already. I don't really care what NN wants to do right now, because I'm concentrating on building good traffic rather than making money. I used Advertlets on my other website and it's just ok, so far no problems. :) :)
Wow JL, thanks for the tips here. I will surely demand the seller to play a YT video and what not now, prior to the final purchase. And you have a 2-week trial so u can get a refund if you’re not completely happy right? Oh u too no longer a Glitterati member? I am using AV here and NN at my other site actually, and even though AV is “okay”, I’ve heard a lot of talk abt them paying LATE and not replying emails. So that sucks! :(

IIRC they will still ask for a RM 50 payment during the 2-week trial if you return the modem. I think the only thing good about the 2-week trial is you don't need to pay anything at all, just abuse the connection and download whatever you want. Keke. When they said I still had to pay I just LOLed hearing that and said to them it's now or never. That's why they even let me try out the YT vids and games :-D
Yeah I'm not a Glitterati anymore. For me AV has been ok and there's this fellow at http://happilybroken.blogspot.com who's a AV titan, says he's received checks from AV. But it does feel they're a bit more standoffish compared to NN. Not that NN is so hands-on anyway. :-)

Yeah just abuse it Mariuca. They say got fair usage limit of 20 GB, just abuse it to the max and download 19.9 GB of stuff. The other 0.1 GB is for emergency lol!!! :-D
