Planning a vacation to faraway Rome or someplace closer to home perhaps? Start by securing your accommodation or apartments in Rome. That’s what B and I usually do whenever we plan our getaway. Wherever we go, our hotel or vacation apartment is always top priority and only when our reservation is confirmed do we start working on our itinerary.
Our last getaway was to Singapore and one of the things on our itinerary was to visit Universal Studios Singapore (USS). I’ve already posted the third part of our visit to USS and this is the concluding post of our vacation in sunny Singapore last year.
After an exhausting day of thrilling rides, picture-taking with characters in USS, devouring interesting food and souvenir shopping, B and I exited the theme park and headed toward Candylicious, Asia's biggest candy store. The colourful world of Candylicious was a sight to behold, with enchanting décor and props outside the store for picture taking purposes.

I want candy!

Choosing my M & M's blankey!
We spent quite a while browsing through this fancy store and I was torn between the 3 Musketeers and the Reese’s pillow. Equally soft and fluffy, both chocolates are also my favourite so I had the most difficult time picking just one. In the end, I left the store with a Reese’s chocolate pillow!
Should I get this soft fluffy 3 Musketeers Pillow?
My Reese's choc pillow!
Cute & Cuddly
Candylicious is a great place to source for choc/candy souvenir gift items and we came home with delightfully yummy chocolates, a soft warm lime green M&M’s blanket plus decorative cans and décor items including this adorable pink tiny shopping cart!
Pretty Pink Trolley
By the way, have you tried the vanilla Oreos? They’re delicious and I hope to find some here in PJ/KL.

We returned to Movenpick Heritage Hotel to freshen up and later spent our last night in Singapore dining and enjoying a little casino fun before flying home the next day. I have to say this Singapore trip was more memorable than our last visit. Undoubtedly, we would love to return to this beautiful destination one day and we hope it will be someday soon!
