It was Motown fever at American Idol last week and as usual, there were many strong entertaining performances! I was happy to see Adam back in form, although his new clean-cut look minus the black nail polish did take away some of the edge from his rockin' demeanour. Nonetheless, he is back in the game and I was pleased that he received such glowing compliments from all 4 judges so YAY!
I was a little surprised that Matt Giraud ended up in the bottom three last week. Firstly, he sang one of my favourite Marvin Gaye songs, so that already earned him extra brownie points with me. Secondly, he did such a terrific job too! I really hope America will sit up and take notice of this talented young lad, who not only excels in the vocal department but is looking cuter by the week! So to my American friends, please VOTE for Matt the next round!
For this week's Music Monday our top 2 favourite performances go to Adam and of course Matt. B and I both agree that these two sang better than Danny last week, who though was just as strong; did not move us as much as the other two. Happy listening everybody and have a great Monday!

I finally have the new Internet connection at home, TG!
Now I have loads to catch up :) and some news too. Found a job in the hospital, I´ll start working next Wednesday. I will be doing shifts so there goes my blogging time, which will sure be reduced.

Now American Idol is at its 8th season and it just keeps getting better and better! We love it when they have Motown music as the theme of the week coz we're such huge fans of Motown. Oh and how can we not agree with u on Adam's and Matt's performances??? They were SUPERB!!
And it was absolutely shocking to see Matt in the bottom 2. But oh well! He's still going on really strong and we can't wait to see more of him. And Adam as always! Hehehe. =D

This year, we are rooting for Adam. He rocks!! He's got unbelievable vocals, don't u think so? And he's got tonnes of star quality! Danny is awesome too actually. He's more to soft rock. Something like Bryan Adams! We have this gut feeling that he and Adam will be the last two standing! Yeah!! 8-)
Oh ya Matt's performance the previous week wasn't that good. He should go for more soulful songs coz that's his forte and that's what makes people wanna see more of him! But anyway he's still surviving the competition, so let's hope that this time he picks a better song for himself. ;) :)
