The Big Switch!

I am finally on UNIFI thanks to B who at long last took charge of our Internet situation at home by getting the whole switch from Streamyx to UNIFI done on his own accord so good job!

The whole process was pretty jiffy and installation was done as scheduled with no muss, no fuss. The representative who came to install my system was well-versed with her product and I got all my questions answered.

The real test for me however would be to get my fax connected to the new number that came with UNIFI. I had recently purchased a new Officejet printer from HP using the latest HP voucher codes. Thank goodness for Discount Codes I secured online, which allowed me to obtain my new printer and Save Money at the same time too! By the way, I got one of those all-in-one Officejet printers, which allows me to scan, copy, fax, call and I wasn’t sure how to get it connected to the new number.

I know, that’s what the manual is for but I’ve misplaced the manual somewhere inside my messy home-office so until I can find it, I am now fax-less at the moment. Next plan, look for a solution online!

Other than that, I am having no issues with UNIFI. There is a definite difference in speed, especially when it comes to downloads and I no longer have to wait for videos to buffer prior to loading. Oh yes, I also get to enjoy Hypp TV and so far everything is running smoothly, which is great and such a welcome change from the headaches I used to get with Streamyx.

Having said that, I was actually a little sad to say goodbye to Streamyx but that’s just the sentimental fool in me having been a loyal customer for 10 years or so. Farewell for real Streamyx and Welcome UNIFI!

Non-Stop Entertainment!

In case you're wondering, I am having a blast with my new iPhone 4! Truly, it is the most entertaining piece of gadget I own right now. I'm not over my gift yet because it's only been two weeks since I got it and so far; it has been a very enjoyable fourteen days. By the way, I love the way my blog looks on my iPhone; cute and compact!

The App Store offers every single app imaginable. So besides Games and Entertainment, which are my two favourite sections; there are many other Apps to download and enjoy under Utilities, Social Networking, Music, Lifestyle, Travel, Sports, News and MORE!

Current craze - Cookie Dozer Thanksgiving

Just for fun, I looked up Dating Chat Apps and my search returned a long list of Date Apps. Some are free but the more exclusive ones come with a price. If you're currently single and ready to mingle, you may find interest in this particular category.



Personally, I've never looked into any of these dating chat sites even during my single days. But I do know several friends who have tried and successfully met new people this way. I guess it is all in the way you look at things. For me, I prefer my first encounter with my soul mate to happen naturally rather than planned or chanced upon via a chat site. It just seems more real and romantic that way but that's just me.

Speaking of date chats, I need to set a Yahoo Messenger chat session with sis and my niece Issy in UK soon. I've just downloaded Yahoo Messenger on my iPhone and I am raring to try out this App with sis. Definitely looking forward to seeing adorable Issy and her latest antics on my new iPhone!

iPhone 4 this Valentine's Day! *

Yay Yay! Finally got the oh so awesome iPhone 4, which is also my Valentine's Day gift from B this year. Thank you very much Love and this by far one of the best gifts I've ever received!

B got me this iPhone 4 at retail price from an Apple reseller so the price was kind of exorbitant as compared to an iphone purchased with a Digi/Maxis plan. Impatient me couldn't and refuse to wait for another few weeks or months to finally own the iPhone 4 so we grabbed the first one we found in One Utama shopping mall. I was so excited at the thought of finally having an iPhone 4 for real so I didn't even bother to ask much about the features and what not and immediately rushed home with my new toy after the purchase!

Remember how I was undecided between the iPad or iPhone? I was already swayed towards the iPhone 4 and thanks to all the feedback I received, I finally decided on an iPhone 4, which so far is proving to be everything a Smartphone stands for and more!
