When I first started giving linky love to the FIRST COMMENTER on my * posts, it was meant as a token of appreciation. Thanks for taking the time to read my posts and comment accordingly. Your comments drive me to keep on blogging; coming out with great new posts for your reading and viewing pleasure.
However, I noticed that several members of the First Commenter Club have neglected to abide by the main rule of this club, which is to LINK BACK to your FIRST COMMENTER at the bottom of the given post. Please see sample here and here for what I mean by linking back. Linking back to your first commenter is what the FCC is all about and it is a little sad to see some members NOT linking back to the URL of the said first commenter.
I understand that blogging takes a backseat to real life and you have other more important things to do than to link back to your commenters. For me however, this is what the FCC is all about and I will continue linking back to my FCs (for post titles ending with * ) to ensure MY valued first commenters get rewarded for their effort and time to comment at my site.
On that note, I would also like to show appreciation to some favourite members who I know for a fact are playing by the rules by LINKING BACK to the URL of their first commenters. Thank you very much for having fun with the FCC and thank you for linking back to your commenters. Your blogs are my favourites when it comes to chopping and commenting because I know you truly appreciate your commenters with a link back from your site to mine.
