If a condo is where you're currently living like yours truly, you would probably understand my longing for a real mailbox for my home. It's been years since I walked out of my front door, across the porch and to the trusty mailbox waiting for me within the gates of my landed property.
I know it's not a big deal to those who are accustomed to seeing their Whitehall Mailboxes, Custom Mailboxes or Personalized Mailboxes outside their windows, but living in a condo does have its disadvantages. And aside from not having your own garden, the lack of a proper mailbox within my very own gated yard is what I miss right now.
So what's a condo-living mailbox-loving girl to do but simply wish and imagine living in a landed property with gates and a nice small garden for my fluffy cats to play in, complete with a nice white mailbox! And today especially, is a perfect day for me to daydream. My client had just cancelled one of the jobs I received yesterday, so I am kind of free. Plus it is also Friday, my favourite day of the week, which means I'm already on dreamy lazy mode waiting for the weekend to arrive. Totem Tribe ni yg dekat island tu, GP...and similar concept to villagers, tp you have to solve the 3 mystery objects at the island. Then, build a ship so that your tribe can sail to another island.

Debbs, my degree or master didn't land me any good jobs, its all about what
you're passionate about kan. In fact having Master was a hassle, because
semua didn't want to take a fresh grad master haih That's what I experienced
la. As for you, you're do crafts, you're passionate about it and good at it,
and most importantly you get income from it, that's what I want to do, so I
do envy you Debbs. That's why I'm trying to learn on how to make income by
blogging too, maybe it won't be much but every little cent counts, "righ"?

Bem, that's the thing about employers in Msia la. Want us to have high qualifications, tp dowan to hire us. As for me, I got sick of being mistreated at work and underappreciated, so I decided to work from home. It's definitely not easy la. I am not earning from the crafts I make, but I sell craft supplies, so it's part of something I love la. I've never though anyone would envy me, I am flattered that you do.
Bem, I think you're good at graphic design and such. I've seen your otak3pagi blog and I love your work. There are many ways to earn online, but it requires a lot of hard work and sacrifices. I suggest that you do not leave your day job. Perhaps, you could use your day job as a stepping stone in pursuing your dreams.
I had a hard time trying to get the money to start my small online business. Should I have a permanent job then, it would be easier for me as I can apply for personal loan to kick start the biz. Maybe that's what you should do.
Oh ya, Soulie and her sis, Kak Rina has an online store, right? I think it's really great. :)

design. I'm trying to figure out how to earn more on the side than my
salary, that's the ultimate goal :D Not planning to leave the day job
anytime soon. Have to figure out how to sell my designs, in a big way. :)
Employers sini memang tak appreciate the peeps with high qualifications,
peeps who work hard for it. If I was still in Australia, It'd be easier for
me, but yeah la I don't want to stay far away from my family. You're not
earning from the crafts? Oh sorry, I thought you did since you have a craft
shop. Of course la envy, you have a job that you're passionate about, which
means more productivity. Everyone wants that. :D

It depends la, Bem. I'm no expert but the way I see it, it depends on what you want. My case is different because I mmg nekad tak nak work for people, in an office. :) My income mmg sikit right now but I sacrifice all the benefits of having a permanent job to pursue something that I really love.
