It is always nice to see Danny Gokey smile. By now, everyone knows that this guy with glasses lost his lovely wife several weeks prior to joining American Idol. In fact, it was his broken heart that drove him to take part this year, in hopes of keeping himself busy to forget the true sorrow numbing his heart. So when Danny smiled last week listening to the thunderous applause and wonderful compliments all four judges gave him, B and I were equally ecstatic!
This week's American Idol MM will feature 3 videos since there were too many good performances last week. Feel free to listen to one, two or all three! I loved Matt's rendition of the then over-played Part Time Lover. After years of not listening to this song, Matt made the song oh so refreshing and ultra cool; it got me up and dancing with the rest of his fans!
Allison was consistently awesome last week! I do hope she will make it to the Top 3 at least. She has been my fave girl Idol this year since day one and it's really disheartening to see her wrongfully placed in the bottom almost every week. I hope my American friends will vote for her in the next round. To me, she is truly talented and I'd love to see more of this talented 16 year old!
And lastly, though I am not featuring my number 1 fave Adam Lambert this week, I still gotta give him props for receiving a standing ovation from Simon, which is huge simply because that was the first time ever Simon Cowell stood up for a contestant, from Season 1 until now so YAY!
