If there is one country I would like to visit one fine day, it would be gorgeous Germany! The only blog friend I have in Germany is Martin so perhaps he'll guide me in the right direction for the cheapest Berlin Apartments or other Berlin accommodation when and if that time comes.
Accommodation in any strange country is important to me when travelling. Everything starts with a nice reasonably-priced apartment in Berlin in a strategic situation. Once our Berlin apartment is confirmed, it would be much easier to start planning our itinerary.
In Berlin, there are over 170 museums and galleries welcoming millions of visitors from all over the world each year. How I'd love to fall into that statistic especially since Madame Tussauds is on the list of museums. When we were in London last year, we visited the world-famous Madame Tussauds Wax Museum, which is a must for any tourist.
I did some research prior to our vacation, which actually got me a little worried. Most of the reviews I read online were not flattering; citing long hours of queuing, overcrowded inside the museum and expensive gift shop items as main concerns. So when we finally visited Madame Tussauds on the 6th day of our European Escapade, I was anticipating a really long wait with plenty of shoving and pushing. We'd also probably end up leaving with just a few pictures since the crowd was supposedly huge every day of the week. 
In the end, we left the museum with more than 400 pictures and though there were duplicates and some were blurry, they were still worth the trip! Anyway, I will break this segment of my European Escapade into several Madame Tussauds posts to accommodate the many pictures we took on that day. So I hope you'll like the photos as much as B and I enjoyed our day out with the Stars!

It was a chilly Saturday and we could see the crowd forming longer and longer just a few minutes after we arrived. To kill time, we took pictures of the surrounding area.
How much longer?
30 minutes and countingIt took us approximately 30 minutes of waiting and picture-taking outside before we finally got inside the building. Even then, there was another 60-minute wait before we actually reached the main museum hall. 
Another hour?

Saturday crowdQueuing continued inside and as you can see, we weren't the only restless ones.
Crowded houseAlong the way to the main entrance of the museum hall, there were several displays for guests to admire and snap pictures of while waiting. So that kept us occupied. By the way, this was B's third time visiting Madame Tussauds and it was my first.

Shirley BasseyFinally we were in! By that time, we weren't counting the minutes any longer and braced ourselves for the crowd already inside. Everywhere I turned, people were running around with cameras and there was non-stop clicking and flash bursts all around! 
Despite my initial fear of not being able to take photos with my favourite stars due to the massive crowd, B and I managed pretty well. Holding a camera each, we took turns taking pictures of each other and I think we covered almost all of the wax figures!
The first star we 'met' was none other than the ultra hot Zac Efron! Even in wax, he looks good!

Yes, very crowded outside and inside! So u really have to jaga ur stuff so tak hilang and u gotta be tough and hold ur stand to make sure u don't get pushed around.. he he... :-D :-D :-D
