I've been sitting here for the last hour reading up on the unfamiliar topic of the United States Army for an assignment but I'm distracted by the upcoming New Year and all the plans I hope to achieve in 2011. New Year brings with it new hopes, new dreams and hopefully a new home for yours truly!
Lately, B and I have been contemplating moving and starting fresh in a brand new home. We'd still stick to PJ of course but this time around, we would prefer a home with a garden. A beautiful duplex condo with plenty of space, a huge master bedroom and a nice luxurious Jacuzzi is what I have in mind.
My parents have been asking if we have any plans to sell our condo and honestly, the thought has crossed my mind plenty of times. There is also the suggestion to refinance our mortgage but I'm really not sure how that works. I'm supposed to schedule a meet with my parents' friend who would not only try to help sell our home but fill us in on other things we might want to know regarding mortgage refinancing, Streamline Refinance, streamline refinance program and the likes. However, the procrastinator in me is still sitting on this house issue.
There are too many other things going on in my personal life at the moment for me to really focus on a new home. What I'd really like to do is pick out my dream home and leave the selling or refinancing to B. But of course I can't and I won't for being married means working side by side and important issues like selling or refinancing our home should be decided as a couple.
Speaking of my other half, B's Vios decided to act up again last night and the car is currently stranded at his office. I know right? So soon after we got it back from the workshop but that's life. When you least expect it, another expense rears its ugly head. See what I mean about other things I have to worry about right now aside from a new home?
Anyway, 9 more days till the New Year and I am definitely looking forward to 2011 and the wonderful things in store for us, which hopefully includes a brand new home!

bigger house is awesome.. but yeah, the financing issue can give quite a headache so gotta think carefully before you guys act on something ya.. packing is murder.. if i nak pindah, kena hire someone pack for me.. haha bole ke gitu punya pemalas? :-P
BBunz was also looking to get a car and haritu he was checking out this Vios but some friends were saying not so good la Vios (Toyota brands) and told him to better get something else.. Maybe coz Vios always got problem ke? Hmm.. I pun tak sure.. So now he's getting a Forte! :-D

wow, new home? sounds fantabulous. this is the excellent time to start thinking about starting the new year with a brand-new home.
i like houses with garden too as i do enjoy gardening. that's probably bcoz I come from a family of keen gardeners, and began gardening at an early age. ;)
