How much have you changed in the last ten years? Do you remember where you were at that point in time?
For me, I was working at my first job with my good friend Dommie in NST. It was an amazing phase of my life and most days saw me having fun at work, hanging out with my single friends and doing a lot of girl stuff. My main concern then was how to keep me entertained and footing the bill for my lavish lifestyle. In fact, I daresay I had even more credit cards then compared to what I have now!
Back then, I never pictured going freelance and working from home or settling down with B and having three cats of our own. So it's nice to go back in time and reminisce those wonderful care-free moments but it's even nicer to be sitting down in front of Pinky right now; working on my blog inside my own home-office with hubby working on his stuff on my day-bed.

A Simple Life

I would say my change began 15 years ago when I left a corporate writing job and branched out on my own. A new person evolved who wasn't defined by the limitations of a 9 to 5 job. A more patient, organized and risk-taking me emerged. This may sound like a cliche, but I really don't sweat the small things anymore, because there's enough big stuff to occupy your mind. Blessings!

Spend , travel, eat while you can and when young...... When you are old and have lots of money, you probably can't walk far, cannot eat too much or have nothing useful to buy anymore.

Rainy, rainy weekend in the Roxiticus Valley... today London and Maddie have their last basketball clinic... they are trying softball for the first time this year, starting in April. We're seeing the middle school kids put on the show Seussical, then off to visit my mom, who will hopefully be moved to the rehab facility for her hip for a couple of weeks.
