Thinking Back

Sometimes I regret being too hasty in my decision to purchase our current home. Don't get me wrong for I love our home sweet home but if only I had taken some time to ponder my options, I would have bought the ground unit instead of our current one on the 1st floor.

Why you ask? Well, all ground floor units have their own garden! It's not huge but it would be sufficient for you to enjoy a little sunshine and breeze and you can very well plant your own flowers and what not. Plus, it would be perfect for my cats to lounge in! The garden is not gated or fenced but I could easily solve that by installing aluminum fence or gate around the area. Apparently you can do that yourself, thanks to stores like Great Fence Distributors.

Specializing in premium aluminum fencing and gates, Great Fence Distributors provide a wide range of options like dog panel add-on, estate gates, hand railings, arbors, decorative finials, ornamental rings and scrolls. Their
aluminum fence panels and gates come fully assembled, which means the ground work has already been done for you. The posts are pre-punched according to your fence requirement so basically all you have to do is insert and set you fence panels yourself; saving you a huge chunk of money in the process too! Installation is easy and all panels are guaranteed the highest level of quality and impeccable workmanship. Smiley

When we were house hunting several years back, we did check out the Armanee Terrace Condo show unit as well and I instantly fell in love with it. Not only is it a duplex but it also comes with a spacious garden. The garden units are not limited to just the ground floor; allowing you to enjoy your own garden in the sky, which I thought was way cool. Unfortunately, we had already bought our home then and there was no way we could fork up another huge lump sum for another condo so bye-bye Armanee!

Can you see the pretty garden in this Armanee model home? The garden is already gated, which makes it all the more perfect! Smiley

Well the higher, the pricier.. and it really depends on what you want. We've stayed on the 9th floor in another condo prior to our current home, so we decided to go lower this time around. Plus, if elevator rosak (which has yet to happen thank goodness!) then no need to worry he he! :-D :-D :-D

Mariuca,  December 19, 2009 10:38 PM

Surely la Foong, that's why my next home (if condo), I wanna make sure got garden so my meows can play2 there! 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

aww...too bad. maybe you can just make do with bonsai trees or topiary. :) looking at greens is very refreshing to the eyes especially after a long day sitting in front of the computer.

Mariuca,  December 20, 2009 7:02 PM

I need me some green sweetie, definitely a few potted plants would help brighten up my days, thanks Sunshine! :)

Angel,  December 20, 2009 11:03 PM

I think the Armanee is beautiful. I always thought living in condos or apartments when single is fine but once if I decide to get married and have a family, it would be a little crowded and maybe a semi-d is better. But looking at this Armanee, I think I wouldn't mind staying here, single or with kids. :P But yeah, I like a little garden too. Nothing brightens up a home than a few colorful and sweet-smelling plants

very nice environment.....

Mariuca,  December 21, 2009 4:36 PM

Thank you Guest, the ambience exudes total comfort and class don’t you think? :)

Mariuca,  December 21, 2009 4:38 PM

Hi Angel!!! Do leave me ur URL on your next visit so I can return your visit yeah?
Oh tell me about it Angel, I adore the Armanee…. So I am hoping for a new development, preferably somewhere near my current area, so I can go crazy over it he he! A semi-d would be awesome but nowadays most semi-ds are oh so expensive! Thanks so much for your lovely comment here. I hope u have a great week ahead… :)

Tariq,  December 21, 2009 7:54 PM

Garden tu memang seronok lagi cun.

Rizal,  December 21, 2009 11:14 PM

Lantai tu nampak sejuk nyaman rasa macam nak guling-guling ajer kat lantai tu. Aha Ha : )

ayie,  December 22, 2009 4:55 AM

that's why we prefer to get a townhouse unit if we can't get to purchase a house just yet. At least consideration for lawn space and little garden is a must. We want to see our kids play there =P :-P :-P :-P

Mariuca,  December 22, 2009 5:44 PM

There’s a really beautiful townhouse right across my condo building Ayie! They’re all taken up and only rental units are available but it truly is magnificent wow! :)

Mariuca,  December 22, 2009 5:51 PM

Ah tu la cun gila garden ni Rizal, so cozy and spacious enough for me to enjoy coffee while blogging…bestnye….. kucing2 semua pun boleh main kat garden while I blog…. Eh Che Pon tu Pontianak ke? ASTAGA!!!! :(

Mariuca,  December 22, 2009 5:53 PM

LOL kalau lantai bersih and shiny mcm ni sure I pun nak berguling2 Rizal, with or without mah cats! :)

Mariuca,  December 22, 2009 5:54 PM
