For the past two weeks, B and I have been helping out a good friend search for decent size cheap apartments with 2 rooms and a parking space. Location is important too so we're only looking at PJ and Subang. After two weeks of searching high and low for cheap rentals that fit his requirements, all I can say is apartment hunting is not as easy as it used to be!
I remember when B and I first got married and how we managed to find a nice little condo for us to move into immediately following the whole ceremony and celebration. We wanted to start our lives together ASAP so we started our search for reasonably cheap condos early, in a location that was convenient for the both of us work-wise.
It took us only a week to find a cute cozy condo in KL. Though our mailing address said KL, the location was actually bordering on PJ, which was great seeing that I've always been a PJ girl and I didn't want to start married life with B in an unfamiliar territory.
In the case of our friend however, two weeks of cheap apartment hunting only led us to run-down apartments that are lacking in both security and facilities. Of course you have to pay a little bit more if you want a more acceptable apartment but our friend is also on a tight budget, which makes this whole apartment hunting more difficult.
We've not given up hope yet but times like these I wish we had a cool search engine like MyCheapApartments to help secure the right living place for our buddy. I wish it was that easy for our friend. Perhaps I could talk him into increasing his budget a little bit more and maybe we'll even find a rental unit where I'm living! It would be awesome to have a close friend living within earshot of us!

For us we were lucky coz A already got a cute apartment that he was already living in before we got married.. so when we got married.. it was easy.. :)

As you already know I am also trying to get aterrace house in KL so desperately, kalau aprt. need tingkat bawah sekali, dah pasang macam2 agents but still no luck, I cannot be too choosing now, just to have a "tapak" first, just in case while checking the aprt for your friend, perhaps you might come across some maybe meant for me, just take the tel nos and I will try to call the landlords myself. This is really a big favour but sambil2 checking for yr friend kan, you dah tulong satu hamba Allah, ok?

before I forget my budget is say RM750,00 to RM800,00 per month, if more just let me know. Really hope you dont mind, just while checking for yr friend, don't just go around checking for me, I repeat while checking for your friend, same timing, ok?? otherwise, I wouldnt dare to ask you, malu lah, buang masa orang kan?
I intend to post in my blog too regarding this house hunting, perhaps who knows I will soon get a house or an apartment (ground flr) in KL.

we're still house hunting up to now...waiting for better deals in the market.
it's not easy that hubs family is still up to now temporarily sheltering with us, as much as we want to have to live our lives freely we just can't.
waiting for that chance to gt our home so we are off on our own.
