Everyone's been burned at some point in life; yours truly included. I think it's totally okay to drown your sorrows and sulk; get it all out of your system while you wait and hope for things to change and make you feel better again.
When your wait ends up futile and you finally realize that things won't change, it's time to forget the past and no matter how painful, you need to move on to what's real and what's here. Sometimes you just have to let it go, sometimes you have let it burn. It's the only way to forget and perhaps it will eventually lead to forgiveness.

You're right, marzie!! :) You just can't change some things, just like you can't stop the sun from rising and setting... but what you can do is accept things the way they are and find happiness wherever you can! :)
