I have a special delivery for Nick! My apologies for the delay in mailing out the coveted Mariuca Halloween Mug to you. I surely didn't intend for any hold-up but as usual there were too many things going on around here. With work, blogging, housework, my kitties and family time occupying my typical week, I only managed to sit down and wrap up your gift last weekend. By the way, I think I did a terrible wrapping job! I mean, 1 piece of brown paper would've been more than sufficient to wrap the box but I ended up using 2 pieces of brown paper in order to beautify the mess I created with the first layer of wrapping. Even then, it didn't do much to camouflage the visibly messy taping and folds of my wrapping! Anyway, it's what's inside that counts right? And once again, thank you for joining Mariuca's 3rd Contest. I hope you'll enjoy your coffee even more now with this brand new mug!

So enjoy your packages guys and don't forget to look out for Mr. Postman. I don't know about your guy, but mine always seems to be in a hurry. Contrary to popular belief, the postman does not always ring twice. In my case, he rings only once and if I don't answer the door fast enough, he's more than happy to quickly disappear and leave me with a "Sorry we missed you" slip instead!

i got to learn few packing tips from you. why don't u write an article on packing gift articles & the materials used to pack.
it will be of much use to ppl like me......
every where the post man is the same all around the world. but i got a different kind of post man who calls me if i'm not at home.
but i got to pay him for tht.
this helps me out tht i never miss any parcel & i get every letter in time.
he is friendly. we some times have a cup of tea or a nice chat for few min in the evening time ....when he comes home to deliver the package after his working hrs.
it is always fun to wait for a letter/pacakage from some one whom we luv the most.....

Ha ha ha, thanks Raghav! The wrapping was poor by my standard cause I'm usually a pretty good wrapper. When I was studying in the States, I worked at the uni library and my job was to pack all the books, mags, journals etc to be shipped to other unis. So that's how I acquired the "skill" LOL!
Wrapping Nick's gift was somehow so difficult, I couldn't get it right at all! ;)

Alakazam! Whoa there little carpet! Did someone say present? I was out over the atlantic ocean on my way to grant some wishes when a little bird told me that i had a pressie all nice and wrapped up under the Marzie tree!!
Soon as I finished granting those wishes I rushed over here! Wow B is a great guy and you too GP!! A Christmas pressie for old GK is really a wonderful way to make agenie happy! ho ho ho!!
I shall keep it under the tree in the true spirit of Christmas and open it on Christmas morning!
