I am almost done with my European Escapade … yes almost but not quite there yet! We are now on the last day of my Amsterdam adventure with B before heading back to Malaysia the next day. I will blog about our journey back home next week and that will be the last of my European Escapade.

Early bird gets the worm so hurry and book your flight tickets and accommodation early for the best rates and deals.
Back to my last day in Amsterdam with darling hubby B, we decided to devote our final day to pure entertainment, dining and relaxing. We also wanted to get back to the hotel early after our day out since there was still the matter of packing and seeing that we had to catch the morning train to the airport, punctuality was of uppermost importance.

AmsterdamOur day started with breakfast at our favourite Wok to Walk before exploring the city. We mostly took pictures, had coffee al fresco, stopped by the casino for one last goodbye, shopped last minute for souvenirs and basically chilled out in Amsterdam with the rest of the city folk and other tourists.

Too bad I lost!I can’t get over how gorgeous the homes and accommodation are in Amsterdam especially the apartment buildings overlooking the canal. They remind me so much of the beautiful Paris apartments I spotted online yesterday. Can you imagine waking up to such a gorgeous view every day?

Last day out in Amsterdam
Goodbye AmsterdamFor lunch, I was in the mood for Italian food so we walked around and around searching for the best looking Italian restaurant before finally settling on one.

Or this one?It was a wonderful choice and we had a nice lunch here. Inside, the ambiance was extremely inviting and the dim lighting enhanced the sheer romance and magic of my last day with B in Amsterdam.

PastaThe bread and garlic butter was simply divine, and it came free with our meal. We ordered sparkling apple juice and pasta, which made for a delightfully tasty late lunch!

Last minute souvenir shoppingWe took shelter inside a small pizza place, which had the most delightful array of delicious pizzas! I already had pasta earlier but I guess my craving for Italian food was still unfulfilled and chose a huge slice of margherita pizza!

Yum Yum!The sun was coming down and we were dead beat from all the walking around. It was time to walk back to our hotel to pack and rest up for our journey back home the next day. Before that however, we stopped at a Croissanterie to bring home some yummy goodies. We also had to make one last stop at the delicious Amsterdam Fries for some yummy Fries!

All those cheese and delicious food, who wouldnt want to stay there forever :). I still remember my times in UK, it was probably the best 2 years of my life.
I wanna live there too!! The houses... so quaint! Overlooking the canal some more. the weather, the food oh glorious food.. everything about Amsterdam seems soooo amazing! :) I wish I would be able to go there one day. ;)
