We're back from our brief weekend getaway and though B and I brought only ONE suitcase between the two of us, we still managed to come home with some goodies as planned!
Shopping in Singapore The first thing I purchased was the special 40th anniversary Hard Rock Cafe shot glass from HRC Sentosa Singapore! Isn't it gorgeous? 
So now B has three and the next one he hopes to add to his collection is one from Seoul (thanks Emila)! 
40th Anniversary HRC shot glassWe've never been to Madrid or Rome but B has both glasses in his HRC collection, thanks to friends and family who gave them to him as souvenir. They know he collects these beautiful HRC glasses and they make sure he gets one from wherever they visit. By the way, if we ever do end up in Madrid, I know just the site to turn to for affordable Madrid apartments!

The name Madrid sounds so exotic doesn't it? Aside from museums, theatres and monuments, this city also offers a whole lot of entertainment with its many hip and happening bars, clubs and leisure spots. I do hope to visit this beautiful city one day and you can bet I will pick the best Madrid accommodation. Not just for comfort and strategic reasons but for picture-taking purposes as well. The more beautiful the hotel, the more snapshots I'll be taking!

The menu was extensive and after hearing the recommendations from our waitress, we decided to share a plate of hickory smoked chicken wings and an open-faced sirloin sandwich! 
It was so hot outside so I settled for a nice tall glass of ice lemon tea. B decided to be adventurous and ordered Cecil Ice Tea, which is also HRC Signature Ice Tea apparently. It had cinnamon inside, which I thought made the tea very cough-syrup like!

A visit to HRC will not be complete unless we stop by the Rock Shop, which was what we did after our late lunch. I got a HRC Tee for myself and the special edition HRC shot glass for B! As mentioned in my previous post, I didn't want to overdo my shopping so just one item each for both of us from HRC Sentosa, Singapore! 
By the way, our hotel is a mere 2-minute walk away from Resorts World Sentosa where all the action is. And the majestic Merlion is the view that we see from our hotel floor. Isn't it amazing? I didn't expect it to be so huge!

I will post pictures of our gorgeous hotel later. Right now, I still have to unpack my suitcase, work on some new jobs received over the weekend and basically get back to my boring old non-vacation routine! I hope you enjoyed my pictures because I sure had fun posting them here!

My husband loves Hard Rock Cafe and we were there at the NYC HRC location when we celebrated our recent anniversary. We bought shot glasses too.....but that was our first. I guess we will collect them from now on ...as you give me an idea.

now that's a huge collection of shot glasses. they can be a fun way to commemorate your travels. i love them too but i don't have space for them. but why only collect from HRC?
