I was talking to my mom last week, well more like complaining about the car accident B and I were recently involved in and how we had to pay a portion of the repair cost first. The insurance claim will come later but for now, the money is coming out of our pockets. She said that year-ends almost always come with some form of unexpected expenses so I should be prepared next time.
Moms apparently know best and true enough, a few other expenses popped up after the accident like our house assessment bill. And then yesterday, my laptop died on me and Pinky's bill came up to about RM250, which means more outgoing cash.
I'm hoping that would be the last invoice we're footing this month and I'm grateful for the extra money I get from my paid blogging activities. Besides my offline job as a freelance copywriter, I do Get Paid for Blogging by several online companies including Sponsored Reviews (SR), which also happens to be my favourite and here's why.
Firstly, SR pays you on a bi-weekly basis, which is great simply because you get money (via PayPal) twice a month. Secondly, SR offers bloggers a wide variety of topics to write about and you can pick and choose those you'd like to bid on. And last but not least, the advertisers you write for get to rate your posts, which of course aims to encourage you to produce your very best work. The higher your rating, the more opportunities will come your way. This month alone, I received 5 assignments from SR and 2 good ratings for my paid posts!
If you're looking for a reputable paid-to-blog program, do join me at SR. Remember, paid posts do not have to be boring. Keep your posts interesting and practice creativity in your writing to keep your readers hooked. A post that is well-written using good grammar with a good opening and an even better ending goes a long way in keeping your blog content (paid or otherwise) enjoyable to read.
Okay, it is coming up to 8.00 am and I am going to check my PayPal account before calling it a "night". I'm also hoping to get more money-making opportunities from SR before December ends so I can usher in 2011 in style!

I’ve been spending money like crazy too especially this month. i've just bought new clothes for my 3 kids and there goes my annual insurance which is due next week.
My company annual dinner is fast approaching too and i still haven't found any nice dress. hope i'll be able to find something nice to wear this weekend.
