I recently received an invitation to attend a reunion cum gathering for ex-Widener students now back home in Malaysia. It's a potluck event organized by our former President of the Widener University International Students Association and will be held in KL.
It's been years since I've met up with old friends and former students but the reunion date coincides with another function B and I have committed to attend. Plus, potluck is really not my kind of thing. I'd much rather bring a dish on my own without having it made into an "obligation". So I've declined the invitation but I can't help wondering how everyone's doing after all these years.
I was not one of those students residing on campus; it was cheaper living slightly further in a rented apartment. My room was really small by the way! In fact, it was so tiny that I hardly spent any time in it besides sleeping. Of course I tried my best to spruce things up with the usual Posters and Prints and what not. I was on a scholarship so I had to make do with cheaper things but after securing a job in the university library, I could afford better and pricier items like Wall Decor, Decals and more.
Anyway, I came across an awesome site befitting today's students living on campus, which I thought I'd share here. I have never lived in a dorm or on a condo even when I was in college because we had a house in Manila, so I didn't need to go to a dorm.. :-P
Probably why I prefer condo living, cause I have been living in houses all my life! :-D LOL

I love reunions and I don't mind potluck.. :-D I actually like to bring food to share just so everyone can see I can cook, because they all thought I wouldn't be able to be domesticated enough to be a wife.. and now, I am the most domesticated of them all.. LOL :-D
in fact, for the past 4 years, our High school reunion is always at home coz i prefer things well set than a pot luck event.. =-O =-O =-O

the mini usb fridge is something i couldn't imagine it actually existed... would make a nice gift indeed. I wonder, though, how long it would take to chill something if powered only by a usb port..
