In keeping with my "out with the old, in with the new" shopping motto this year, I am planning a major office makeover! I've had it with my old office furniture and I am dead set on replacing my 5-year old bookcases with new ones. I need a new office chair too and the huge stack of boxes and old magazines strewn carelessly underneath my table will have to go as well. I am done with "collecting" magazines as they always end up collecting dust after a while. Not to mention the space they occupy in my small-sized home office.
Why the sudden cleaning frenzy? Well, I've been a little demotivated both online and offline actually. I need to get my blogging and working groove back. As one who spends a lot of time writing and posting online, inspiration is what drives me to churn out my copies and translations. And lately, I find it hard to stay focused online due to lack of motivation. After talking it over with B, we've decided my home-office needs a little sprucing to help inspire my blogging and working ways once more!
Buying new things always cheers me up and when it comes to office furniture and Office Supplies, I favour products that boast quality and pleasing to the eye at the same time. Sturdy storage boxes, colourful notepads and pens, funny looking staplers and animal-shaped message boards are my kinda thing so I'm definitely looking forward to buying new office supplies tomorrow! I need to get my mojo back this month and this I will get by shopping for new office stuff and supplies.

when i was a kid, my younger brother and I play like we're working in a company where we have our own office... mine is the living room and he's in the kitchen haha

I take time away from it all for awhile sometimes which helps me recharge to post more often. My work is getting very busy as evidenced by my lack of activity of late with blogging, so it has come at good time for me to not post often. I get into other things to help get back in the groove.

i am into apartment renovation GP!yayks!am moving out from my old boarding house into new apartment..but i still dont have the unit yet..my mum wants another one.she doesn't like the one that i had check lately..just like yours, i want to have me a school-like space in my apartment.nyeheheh! :-P
indeed right, having a good motivation/driving force to do something is really needed to make 1 work properly done..and that's what i am believing oso GP! that's why oso am fixing my new apartment now for me to focus more on studying.. ;)

Agree with you 100%, with new interesting products added with a playful and colour office stuff which are so attractive and good for the eyes would definitely create good feeling and motivate us. I am sure having all these before our eyes will bring joys, and from there ideas will come flowing one after another.
Great thinking Marzie, sometimes we get will tend to get bored looking at the same things so it is good just buy a little something to brighten the admosphere. Just lately I bought myself a big colourful box decorated with Teddy bears and suff, it is just a simple box to keep some of my stuff to make my room neater, then I place my beautiful brass chair nearby and sometimes when I have a good cup of coffee in my room before I started to blog or drop EC, I would just sit on this brass chair with this cup of coffee on this colourful box, it even turned out to be my little table to have my picnic here. I agree with you, it's good to have interesting things around the house!
By just doing just such simple changes like this can make a difference, I understand what you mean! 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)
I had a bad food poisoning last night after eating "buah Kwinin" on my empty stomach
and then had my dinner with nasi beriani with acar added with vinegar, and this really got me into trouble...I womitted like nobody business and got no choice but to rest.
Trying to post FF now, it does not matter whether it's short or lengthy, I must do it now!

Speaking of office makeovers, I could do with a bigger office. Right now wifey and me share the space and sometimes it gets a tad too cramped.
In fact we just only today rearranged our office and now we have 2% more space ... LOL!
