My right wrist hurts and I think it's from the 900 EC dropping I've been doing daily. Plus, I'm currently hooked on Farm Frenzy 3 American Pie and if you know that game, you'd understand the need to click in order to win!
So now my wrist feels sore and I did a little online pain management research to find out how serious my symptoms are. Perhaps you would find them useful too, especially if you're a hardcore EC dropper or gamer like me. So if you have the following symptoms, please consult a doctor immediately.
o Inability to carry objects or use the arm
o Wrist pain that occurs at night or while resting
o Pain persists more than a few days
o Inability to straighten or flex the joint
o Swelling or significant bruising around the forearm
Fortunately, I don't have any of the above symptoms but my right wrist does feel a little sore and I strongly suspect it's due to my dropping and gaming activities. What I can do at home to help alleviate the pain is simply resting my wrist and avoid overusing it. I can also use hot or cold packs as an effective wrist pain therapy but I'm a little unsure which one to use - the heat or the ice? 
Whatever it is, I'm just relieved that my wrist pain is not due to some major health concerns, which requires medical attention and therapy. Ironically as I read this, my dad told me today that he fell at work and may have broken in left wrist. He has a cast now, and has to go back in two days to see the extent of the damage.
I can imagine with the combination of your job as well as blogging that your wrists hurt quite frequently.

I get that pain a lot too Marzie, because of my gaming activities, have you tried playing The Sims for hours, or Red Alert, OMG, your wrist will surely sore afterwards.. LOL.. :-D
I use hot compress when the pain is just minor and I use a cold pack if I can see a bit of redness.. :) Hope that helps.. :)
