I was feeling blue all weekend. I guess the stress and midnight oil I have been burning last week finally took its toll on me and I found myself nursing a bad case of the sniffles last weekend. Initially I was planning to work over the weekend but obviously, that did not happen, as I felt too lousy and weak to do anything. Instead, I spent all Saturday and Sunday catching up on much needed sleep and stressing over unfinished jobs.
The only thing that brightened my weekend and made me forget about being sick was a special surprise I received in my mailbox. It was an envelope addressed to Mr. & Mrs. B. Inside was a cute Thailand bookmark from one of my best blog buddies and author of A Great Pleasure, Jean aka Miss Yummylicious! What a great surprise and lovely gesture! Thanks so much for remembering me on your Bangkok trip Jean!
It's really wonderful to have great friends like Jean who leaves you little surprises when you least expect it, cheering you up when you’re down, letting you know that she cares; reminding you that it’s the little things in life that matter most. So thanks again Jean! You're the best and GP loves ya!
