I finally got my VISA Debit Card from Al Rajhi Bank! I chose this bank for two reasons. Firstly, there is a branch near my place, which definitely spells convenience for now and future purposes. Secondly, I did my research on the Net and apparently, this bank is recommended by several reliable bloggers for the purpose of withdrawing PayPal funds into your bank account. In my case, my friend Emila recommended this bank to me.
It was very easy and fast to get this debit card. The whole process took less than 20 minutes and even then, it would have been faster save for the fact that the most of the bank's staff were on leave due to the upcoming holidays. So I had to wait for about 5 minutes before I was attended. Minimum amount to open a savings account is RM200 and all you need to provide is your MyKad. Customer service was fast and efficient; exactly how I like it! Your debit card is given immediately and once you have activated your online banking, you are good to go!
