Firstly, I would like to extend my sincere apologies to Mike, who tagged me on the topic of Web 2.0 a while ago. Mike, I know it took me ages to get here but here I am, all sorry but ready to dwell on the given topic!
- MyBlogLog – This is my first and favourite blogger community. Apart from boosting traffic, it features an awesome base for readers to interact, connect, build communities and basically have fun! I’ve made many cool friends with equally cool blogs on this site.
- BlogCatalog – Another blogger community with similar features to MyBlogLog. It does have a nicer overall outlook but I seem to gravitate more towards MyBlogLog as most of my blog buddies hail from there.
- Technorati – A neat way to search for interesting sites but my only problem with Techno is pinging! Some blogs linking to me refuse to show up for no apparent reason even after many pings! Despite informing the Tech Support team, my plight was unfortunately, left unresolved and I ended up having to register my blog under a new URL in order to solve that particular problem.
- Spicy Page – I love this funky site simply because it’s a creative addition to the others I’m already a member of. With super cool widgets, this site gives bloggers the chance to test the power of their sites via a voting system where other members get to vote for your site.
Having said that, I still believe that the most important aspect of all these networking and community building lies in your ability to mingle and communicate with others on board. Not only will it help to further expose your blogs, but more importantly, you get to form friendships and connections that you never imagined exist prior to this. With that, it gives me great pleasure to invite the brilliant Bobby Revell to have his say on Web 2.0!

I have that same problem with Technorati! *shakes fist* I KNOW there's more people linking back to me than they show. Grrr. Ahh well :)
No worries about taking so long to complete this..hehe. You were off shopping and having a good time. That was certainly more important :)

I clicked on the create a link under your post to auto link. It's a cool feature. Your post is great. You show the most essential applications to use and discussed everything in a fun Mariucan way. Technorati is a linux hackers paradise, thats why all the problems. If you have that happen again let me know. I can fix that for you. Thanks so much for everything, have a lovely night. . .
Hey Bobby! You mean there's a create a link under my post??? LOL! Anyway, thanks for your comment, and yes please, help me fix my Techno problem! :) How do we go about fixing it?
If you write a post which needs to be linked to another, because your post is about their post or you were tagged on a meme, etc. - go to their post and click the title of that post so it's on it's own page with comments displayed below. At the bottom there is the little known "create a link". Click it. In the pop up you see you are creating your new post. 2 address windows are shown. Change the top one (post title) to whatever you like. Then save as a draft. Close it all and then edit your draft which is titled and the link displayed at your post's bottom(make sure it stays at the bottom)after you publish you will see at the bottom of their(original,your post is now listed as linked to theirs! Thats a real link. Click the title of the Mariuca connection to show it's own page and you'll see my post is linked to yours! Tags and memes not done this way are not really linked! I will write a step by step guide because google won't show you how! Lets start a mutual commenting and link back "Magic Roll" I will put it on it's own portal like blogrolling.com! Seriously, Lets do it!!!!!

I'm working on it. I bought my domain revellian.com but I can't move my blog there because I could lose a lot of links and other headaches. I have no site up yet but I will soon, actually ten or so sites. I have an idea that I think will compete with mybloglog but instead of compete it will complement it. If you send me your e-mail address I can send you a link in to my "think tank" of my idea. I'd really like to get your opinion on it 'cause you know I value your opinion in the highest regard!:):)
