European Escapade - En Route to London **

On our way to Gatwick Airport from KLIA, we stopped for transit in Doha. I've never been to Doha so I was a little apprehensive on what to expect upon arrival. It was hot and humid in Doha but I was okay with that. Malaysia is not much different, weather-wise.

When we arrived, it was early morning. Our transit in Doha was a mere two hours, which gave us sufficient time to stretch our legs, shop around in the big duty-free complex inside and snap pictures while waiting for our connecting flight to London.

I didn't shop much in Doha (obviously waiting for bigger better deals in London) and only got some items for sis. And since we already snacked on the plane prior to our transit, we gave the eatery a miss.

B and I opted for coffee instead. You can never go wrong with coffee and I needed something to keep me going before facing another 7 hours on the next flight.

Costa Coffee had a long queue with passengers like me in need of a pick-me-up but coffee was the only thing I had in mind, so I kept my patience.

Finally it was time to board our plane. I don't think we're actually allowed to take pictures here but this shot was a quickie!

Here I come London!

We took Qatar Airways by the way and these were the meals we had a few hours later. Usually, I look forward to having airplane food but Qatar's menu was not that appetizing. I chose the mushroom egg wrap, which was just okay. B decided to try the strawberry pancakes but in the end agreed that my menu selection was a tad better than his!
