Last weekend B and I met Darth Vader! Yeah, I was really excited for B since he is the Star Wars buff at home but I too was a little in awe seeing Darth Vader roaming around our local mall. Naturally, I did not push away the chance to capture this once-in-a-lifetime memory with the Supreme Commander of the Galactic Empire himself!

Snow TrooperThe Star Wars Toy Carnival was to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Empire Strikes Back. B was excited to see the unveiling of the latest Star Wars toys from Hasbro and I know he plans to buy them for his Star Wars collection later. 
Latest toys from Star WarsPlenty of activities were in store for guests and visitors including a characters meet and greet and starship battle games. Aside from the awesome Star Wars displays on exhibition, I saw participants practising their light saber skills and moves for the light saber duel competition. Too bad B didn't bring along his light saber as well. Otherwise he could have joined in the fun!

Battle of HothI hope you enjoyed the pictures because we sure did have a ball taking them for your viewing pleasure. The next day B and I went on a toy shopping spree, well Star Wars toys to be exact. We came home with two huge boxes for B but I'll save those pictures and story for another day. I was terrified of Vader at the theater back in 1977 when the original came out because he was at the concession stand when I was 2. LOL!
