Nursing B's wound has become a daily routine for me, one that I can do easily with my eyes closed! I'm just kidding for it actually takes proper wound management and care in order to ensure complete healing. 
So whilst B is recovering nicely physically and emotionally, his wound management is still an ongoing process for me. Every morning, I'll turn into Nurse Mariuca and clean and dress his wound properly before he goes to work. I'm so used to doing it and it no longer takes me 20 minutes like the first few times.
Thanks again to everyone for their well-wishes for my hubby. I sent him off for a cat nap so he'll be fresh for his Liverpool match later!
