Call me boring or unadventurous but I am so glad B is not the type of person who spends hours doting on his car unlike some car enthusiasts I know who are constantly on the lookout for aftermarket car parts to beautify their car and make them go Vroom Vroom even faster and louder! I get so irritated sometimes when I'm sitting next to B in our car only to have a fancy schmancy car zoom by with deafening noises that come from all the work they've been doing to their previously already perfect car.
Back in college, many of my guy friends loved working on their cars. I wouldn't mind if their reason for doing so was due to their love for cars, but I knew they mostly did it to impress the ladies, which is oh so lame if you ask me! And it's not like I'm being sour grapes or anything like that.
