While watching Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader on TV two nights back, I was caught up in one of the Math questions posed to a contestant. I forget for which grade it was but the question went something like this. If there are 13 cattle and each one gave birth to 4 calves, how many cattle and calves do you have in total? It seemed easy enough but to calculate it in your mind without pen or paper, while under pressure of winning 50,000 dollars if you get the answer right; well it all could be very confusing.
I came up with the answer 65 before the contestant did. She repeated the question twice before hesitantly confirming the answer to be 65. I don't blame the contestant for being a little thrown off track. You can very well excel in Math but when any Mathematical question is thrown your way on the spot; I too would need a little time to compute it in my head!
Back in school, I hated anything that had to do with Math. It was my least favourite subject and I admit coming to school early just so I could copy off my friend's homework! Later in college, Precalculus was my worst nightmare; which eventually saw me getting help from a Calculus tutor. That helped me pass but it still didn't make me like Math or Calculus any better.

Ooh, yesterday I got a "Penalty" drop message from EC! Apparently, if you
drop to fast that's what you get!! My EC also was deducted, I had 800++ EC's
and I ended up with only 200+ left!

Yep, both of B's brothers live in Manila with their families, were the only
ones who stay in the mountains.. LOL Cause B has skin asthma, so he can't
stay in hot weather for very long, his skin won't take it.. B has to work

Yep, that's what happened, I wrote them about it, and they said that I
closed the tab too fast when I dropped my EC! so can't drop too fast or risk
getting penalty! Yup, lost 600 EC's for getting 3 penalty drop messages,
cause the first time I got it I thought maybe it was the EC of the site
cause on all your sites I get Alright, and then for 2 other sites I got
Penalty, when I tried to drop again and see, I got penalty again, and that's
when I noticed my EC credits were deducted..
