When I set my mind to focus, I am amazed at the things I can accomplish! The non-regular blogger in me has written 19 new posts for February, which was no easy feat mind you!
Firstly, I was occupied with a number of concerns last month. In my offline world, things were not going as smoothly as I had hoped. For reasons I shall not disclose here, I was quite down in the dumps for a huge part of the month. I tried keeping busy and focused; by concentrating on my work instead, which helped. I managed to complete several website hosting assignments for my regular clients. In fact, many tasks last month were focused on the topic of affordable web hosting, aside from the usual banking jobs I receive. Yesterday especially, was a hectic day. I was bombarded with 4 new copywriting jobs and spent the whole day and night working on them. Now that it's March, I am looking forward to get my creative juices running again with some creative print ad jobs perhaps? Last month, I received mostly translation jobs.
So work kept me busy offline but at the same time, I found myself having so much to say to my online readers. Like I mentioned earlier, I was going through a posting frenzy; 19 posts in the love month of February? WOW! I checked this number against the total posts I wrote in February last year and it showed 20! I guess there's just something about February that gets me going, hence the nonstop posting. Let's see how I perform in March shall we? ;)
Now, I'd like to bring your attention to yet another new feature I am introducing here at Wishing on a Falling Star. As you already know, I have been giving out free linky love to my first commenter on any post title ending with a star *. In fact, the newly-launched First Commenter Club is receiving good response and there is still time to join if you like.
Beginning this month however, I will give credit to my First Commenter on non star posts as well! How you ask? If I am not mistaken, my brother is 20 this year. I am sure he will getting
darker after this. He just went to Australia last month to further his study
there. Mum and dad are planning to visit him this June. Sadly, I couldn't
join them. I will be having my industrial training by then. I can't really
remember the last time I went to Aust. It has been quite awhile :)
