Ever since she entered my world, I've been besotted. Never imagining I could be enraptured in a swirl of mixed emotions from someone so tiny, I found myself being enthralled at her every move, sound and scent.
I am drawn to her innocence and the tranquility captivating me each time she’s in my arms, close to my heart. Amidst the topsy-turvy and hectic schedules we're all engulfed in, this was a welcomed change. I could not get enough.
As I held her in my arms, my thoughts wandered off to what it would be when she goes away to a foreign country with her parents next year. And I realized that though I've known her for only a month, she's the one I'll miss the most for the next three years...

Oh dear...Isabella is leaving the country? Wah so small and already know how to travel ah? Hehe. But we know how u feel GP! We also have little nieces and nephews, and a few have left us to stay in another country. We do miss them, but all thanks to technology, we can still keep in touch with our kiddos no matter how far they are. We're sure u can too! So don't feel so sad ok? =)

Thank you NAFA for such a nice comment here. You did make me feel better about Isabella going away! She'll be in UK soon, sigh... just when I'm getting used to having a baby niece around, she has to leave! But ur right, we can still keep in touch thanks to technology! You're da best la NAFA! :):):)

Marzie! What you described is the joy of parenthood that I felt when my daughter was born. Like you I also felt it when my dear little nephews were born...they aren't so little anymore two are pushing 18 and one 8!
But that was before we had a child of our own too and sharing in the warmth of the little babies is really something special. SO I know exactly how you feel! :)

Marzie, isabella is simply adorable. I love to look at little babies & held them in the arms just like you do. Where are they heading to? You're gonna miss them for 3 yrs. By the time she returns would be able to call you Aunty :)

She is only 1 months old??she is so cute,is she sleeping in ur arm??Quite nice for her actually since she can travel by plane when she is one month old and I am already 22 but yet to have a chance to catch on flight..sigh..

From the time you find out...and while he/she slowly grows inside you and you feel the movement tickle and jostle...until you finally see a tiny little face all covered in goo looking helpless and fragile....you'll never feel the same! never! :)

I have a cute 3 month old baby niece here at home.. I'm glad she's not going anywhere... Well, not just yet, I guess. But if ever she has to go somewhere else just like your lil Isabella, I'd surely miss her too.
